Fortuna A3 Dough Divider

Fortuna Automat A3 is a legendary, exceptionally robust automatic dough divider and rounder (so-called bun divider rounder) from the German manufacturer Fortuna Maschinenbau. This machine is considered the “gold standard” in the baking industry for producing round dough pieces such as bread rolls, Kaiser rolls, doughnuts, burger buns or small loaves.

Unlike semi-automatic dividers (e.g. the SQ SA type), the Fortuna A3 can not only divide the dough precisely in a single automatic cycle, but also perfectly round it into smooth balls.

Key advantages and design

• Legendary durability (German engineering): Machines from the Fortuna Automat series weigh around 540 kg. The heavy cast-iron construction and gearbox running entirely in an oil bath ensure that these machines operate reliably for decades, even in continuous production.
• Fully automatic cycle: The operator simply places the dough on the moulding (rounding) plate, slides it into the machine and closes the safety cover. The machine compresses the dough, stainless-steel knives divide it, and the eccentric movement of the lower plate ensures precise rounding.
• Rounding switch-off (moulding switch): The machine is equipped with a rounding disengagement function. If you only need to divide the dough into portions without rounding it, the moulding process can simply be deactivated.
• Easy cleaning: The dividing head is tiltable (versions marked H+ or E feature an electric rearward head tilt), allowing easy access to the knives for daily cleaning and maintenance.
